Amar Sonod is a digital certificate platform for Bangladesh Union Parishad and
Municipality offices. Google Sheets and Google Drive are an optional office
feature — not required for citizens to apply for certificates.
How the feature works
1. Sign in as office staff Authorized staff open Amar Sonod and go to Settings → Google Sheets ও Drive.
2. Connect Google (OAuth consent) Staff connect a Google account. Google shows the Amar Sonod consent screen with only the scopes listed below.
3. Create Sheet and Drive folder Amar Sonod creates a certificate register spreadsheet and a Drive folder under drive.file (no broad spreadsheets scope).
4. Apply → Sheet row When a certificate application is submitted, Amar Sonod appends a register row to the office Sheet.
5. Approve → Sheet update + PDF in Drive On approval, Amar Sonod updates the Sheet and uploads certificate PDF copies into the Drive folder.
Minimum Google scopes
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file — create the register Sheet and PDF folder; append/update rows via Sheets API on that app-created file; upload approved PDFs. No full Drive access.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — show connected account email.
openid — OAuth sign-in.
We do not request Gmail, Contacts, or full Drive access. Google user data is used only for these
features and as disclosed in the
Amar Sonod Privacy Policy.
